Sometimes when trying to explain my job, people will often ask me about trucking. Why is it still so valuable? Isn’t rail getting bigger than trucking? It’s more efficient and cost effective. Also, most of our goods are coming overseas, so isn’t air and ocean becoming bigger than trucking? I mean, I see moving trucks all the time, but I hear less and less about trucking.
